My summer schedule is brutal. It doesn't seem like a big change, but I lose Tuesday mornings off and I have no break on Thursday. Plus the morning workouts on M,W, and Friday go almost an hour later. Needless to say I am dragging ass a bit. Not to mention, my parents are in town, so I want to stay up with them every night or I don't get to see them much.
Oh well, such is life. I do need to find a little rest before Friday's race. the team had a nice little track workout yesterday, I had a treadmill slog. I did the same workout but after 6 hours on deck and at 5 at night. I do not know how people so workouts like this at night.
600 meters @10K pace
200 jog
400 @5K pace....5 times.
Solid stuff.
I got through it....6 min pace onthe 600's and 5;30 pace on the 400's. Again not bad, but I would always rather be at the track.
