What a great weekend for every program I am associated with.
The RallySport Aquatics kids swam great at the High School state meet this weekend. Numerous best times and great performances for a group of boys that were not rested very much at all. We just have to carry this momentum into the long course season.
Lance and Tony put on a hugely successful race with the Summer Open this weekend out in Longmont. A good time was had by all. Their race series is turning into a force and a fun group of triathlons for everyone. Pro and beginner alike.
Cam Dye, huge props for winning Memphis in May. his first major win as a pro. Maybe now some people are going to stand up and take notice of a guy that has been causing me to stand up and take notice for 9 years now. Way to go man.
Kristen Peterson raced her first ITU race at PATCO in OK City this weekend. Great effort and a huge learning experience for a racer that is developing into a great pro.
Breeze and I had an amazing time in NYC this weekend. Thanks to Dave and Dia Cohen for a great celebration of their union and for three nights of no sleep and non-stop fun. I saw 2 am on the clock three nights in a row for the first time since the last time I was in the city. That place is worse than Vegas. I love you guys, congrats.
That about sums it up. I think I will sleep well tonight.
