Rabbit Mountain TT was today. I had a good go and so did the rest of the team with Breeze and Cam riding very well. Lance had a bit of a struggle with a flat right the race. He missed his sendoff. So when you see his time, it's wrong. Tough to get going after that shock.
Cam was off at 7:37 (brutal) and set the standard for the day with a 17:28 over the 11K course. He won the Cat 4's solidly. Breeze was next with a 22: 20 go and she didn't know where the course ended. Too bad cause she was 5th and barely out of 4th. Oh well, live and learn. She'll pre ride the course next time. However, a great effort for her first bike race.
Neal and I and the rest of the 35+3's were next. Neal got me again, but by a smaller margin this time. Neal was 17:36 and I was 18:02. He was 2nd and I was 4th, one spot off the podium. Guess I should have notice before the start that I was in the little ring, I thought it felt a bit fast, haha. Oh well. I finished great though and had a fun time.
Still looking for a cycling team that may want me.
