Speed work on the run today. We did some hill repeats. Actually a lot of hill repeats.
i gotta hand it to Neal, he has a way of making the run workouts fun. They remind me of swim workouts. they constantly change in length , focus and intensity. It's not like we are going 8 1 mile repeats. Sure, every once and a while we do, but for the most part it is really mixed up. I am much better with that. Anyway we were over at the South Boulder Rec center (with the rest of the pros in Boulder it seems)
Did the hills and then he pulled a Grant. There was one thing left, for all those racing this weekend 1 K at pace for all of us not racing a mile at pace.
Everyone was on it man.
Cam 3:00 for the K
Lance was 3:13
Jimmy 5:13 for the mile
Kristen predicted her time on the nose 1K in 3;54 perfect pace
Breeze 6:59 mile and
myself 5:43 for the mile.
Then went and had my massage at BCSM with Nikki.
Boulder Center for Sports Medicine guys....check it out. They do amazing work.
