Saturday Morning at RallySport Aquatics

5;45 in the front gate and it is off with the covers. The kids straggle in looking a bit worse for wear. They are at least some what talkative though. That's good news. Covers are off and they are in for the 400 easy.

Warmup is about 100 of swim, kicking and drilling. Easy and smooth and then it is into 8 x 75 rolling Im on 1;15. Just to wake up a little. then 8 x 25's odds perfect, evens first half fast kick second 12 1/5 fast swim.
200 easy
All the while I quietly make stroke observations while munching on my Breeze Bar and drinking my Lime Mix 1. There's donuts on the table too, but they are for the kids after workout so I do not indulge. A cup of Rockies coffee and the world is good.

As the sun comes up Jorge joins me on deck and we start the main set.
6 x 100 odds free, evens fly/back on 1:40
6 x 50 odds fly/back on :50 evens free on :40
1 minute break
6 x 100 odds IM, evens Br/Fr on 1:40
6 x 50 odds br/fr :45 evens free on :35.

Tough set, but they handle it well.
Then into 1,400 yards of kick to finish off the morning. steady smooth stuff on a :55 base with sprint kick and swim with the snorkels thrown in.

AT 8 its over. The kids grab a Mix 1 and change to go to Yoga. After an hour of restoritive yoga with Megan, they are done for the weekend.

No doubt a donut or two was grabbed on the way out the door.
