...and a look to the future?
Last night at US Open, the entire A final of the men's 200 IM put this swimsuit controversy to rest. They planned ahead and raced the event in briefs. Speedos. It looked like the old days and to all of those who say that people don't want the new suits to go...the heat wa met with a standing ovation.
Just in case FINA and USA Swimming want to keep trying to claim the suits don't help, here is some info. The B final was won in 2;01.6 and the 8th place swimmer in the B final was 2:03. The A final (in briefs) was won in 2:01.3 and 8th was 2:08.Yeah the suits don't help.
Big shout out to the A final for their gesture. It was classy and it was fin to watch.
