slow week

It has been a slow week here for RallySport Aquatics. Juniors and our main meets of the season are over and finals always put the kids in a rut. Their brains are mush to begin with, hammering out yardage will not help. Plus the girls high school season cranks up with one of the biggest wastes of a meet in creation, Coach's Invitational. So, needless to say, we took it easy.

It has been an interesting end to the season. Rob Putnam has left to go to pursue other career options. Unfortunately, it is right here int own and so the rumor mill and speculation is rampant. I am happy for Rob, he was a great person to work with through the years. I don't love competing with friends in town, but I like the product at RallySport.

Eney Jones and JD White are joining the staff though and it may be the best thing the teams has had in a while. JD was a great college sprinter and Eney was a great college distance swimmer, its a good combo. As for me, I will be on deck more, but it is hard to complain about having to do more of what you love.
