What a weekend.

There is only one place to start....

Cam Dye pinned it today down at the St Anthony's in Florida. Cam won Memphis in May last year, but this field was world class. He rolled out the race of his life, so far, and walked away with a huge win.

I have been talking about this coming for a couple of years now and heard the same thing from the tri communtiy. Swimmers can't run, he needs to run more, he needs a triathlon coach. Well, I guess they were wrong. I have known Cameron since he was 15 and have coached him in some capacity for the last 10 years. He has gone from an athlete, to a friend. There is no person in the world more deserving of this. Young athletes should watch and study him. He is coachable, faithful and patient. He found people that he trusts and believes in, like Neal and Tim DeBoom and Breeze for nutrition and gleaned everything he can from them.

It worked. We are proud of you Cam.

The RACE kids stepped up for their first meet of the year this weekend as well. Huge props to Caroline Patterson and Kourtney Fosse. They swam their first lifetime LC meets and proceeded to make sectionals in the 200 back and 200 br respectivily. they did exactly what i asked of them in the race. 100% faith and they were awesome. Huge heart and huge guts. Way to go girls. The rest of the team was great as well. I love these guys and 12 hours at a meetcouldn't dampen the my spirits.

Flora was Floriffic too. Shhe signs with Breeze Bars on Thursday and then wins the TTT, Crit and Road Race this weekend. Coincidence. I think not.
