Not my calling

It is fun for sure, but golf is not my calling. Now, i am ok at it, but I only play once a year or so. I tend to score right around 85-90 depending on the course.

We played two courses here so far. We played the TPC Scottsdale where they hold the Phoenix Open and then a course called Gold Canyon that was harder. The issue at hand is that you can make the TPC easier, not so with a course that goes from fairway to desert. And not that fluffy, sandy desert either. This stuff is rocks, lots of rocks.

So I was a 91 yesterday at the TPC Stadium course and I had a 9 on the back. I also had 2 birdies and a couple of pars, but I had a 9. It was painfule. i went sand, mud, sand, then green at one point and I was within 20 yards of the hole. Sad really. I was thinking of how I wanted to go for a run about halfway through. When I want to run, we got issues.

I did shoot 89 today, but it was not any prettier. I started with 6 double bogeys in a row. The good news though was I didn't throw anything. that's pretty solid for me.

One more day of golf andf then back to the real world.
