The Service Course

Its hard in this town, Boulder, to know what to do with your gear. Who do you buy it from, who do you let work on it and who do let sell it. There are a million options and there are a million opinions. People ask me my opinion a good bit and for the most part, while I give an answer, i don;t work that hard to convince. After all it is your gear.

However, when it come to wrenching, I will try hard to convince. I just had my new 2011 Specialized Tarmac built up. I am not a great mechanic, but I can get a bike built. However, I do not have faith in doing it truly well, so I always have someone better than I build my bikes. During cross season I turned to Damien Shanks and The Service Course in Boulder. Daimo spent a long time as the mechanic for Slipstream and has now turned his attention to The Service Course and we are all better for it.

Not only will your bike get built expertly, but the service in unreal. They consult with you every step of the way and even grab the parts you need and pick up.drop off the bike if needed. The experience with The Service Course will make certain that you never leave your bike at a regular shop again.

I cannot thank Daimo enough and cannot recommend his services any higher.

My 2011 Specialized Tarmac SL3 with Carroll Composites bars and AL30 Wheels. Note the special touches by Daimo with the spacers and the gold cable stops.
