Day 4

Friday was a good say, but as we roll into Saturday, the fun sometimes stops. There is 4 events Saturday and the day drags a bit. After the 100 back, the 500 free slows down the meet and often people find themselves a little lethargic for the 100 Breast and 100 fly.

RACE was good on Saturday. We had been great leading in and while we did have some great swims, Saturday morning was a grind. Anna made it to finals in the 100 back where she took 12th in 56.3, but Willy stole the show in the 200 back. He went 52.7 and set the team record. However, the meet is so fast that he didn't make it back. The 500's were solid and Eric and Geoffrey ended up in finals side by side battling for the team record. The 15 year old touched out Eric by .10 and stole the team record away. It was a best time for both though and marked Eric's second best time of the meet which caps off a great first college season.

The 100 breasts were next and Kourtney broke her own team record in the event posting a 1;03.7 which qualified her 5th for finals, where she finished after the finals session. Rin and Alex both made it back where Alex took the C final in a time of 58.09 breaking his brother's team record. The flys were good with best times by Nick, Liam, Siobhan, Jennifer and Lacey.

The capped of the night session with the 400 free relays. Heather led off the women;s B with a lifetime best of 52.98 and the boys were strong with Willy splitting 56.3. They were fun to watch. We are sitting in 7th in the meet entering Sunday. Place only 12 points behind rival North Jeffco, Sunday sets up to be a great day. 200IM, 50 free, mile and medley relays.
